Cobus Van Gheluwe

Hi everyone, I’m Cobus, Founder of Funkey, a platform born from one simple idea: helping teams connect in meaningful ways. When I started Funkey, I had no idea how much I would learn, not just about business, but about people. Entrepreneurship taught me that growth isn’t only measured in numbers, but in trust, culture, and connection. At Funkey, we’ve built more than a company, we’ve built a team that thrives on authenticity and collaboration. From sleepless startup nights to scaling across countries, every step has reinforced one belief: happy teams build successful companies. Today, I share insights from that journey: from navigating HR challenges to cultivating real engagement, from startup chaos to sustainable culture. Because in the end, entrepreneurship is not just about building a business. It’s about building connections.
