I'm Arthur Dekeyser, founder of Novalar Consult and Independent Finance Consultant for Flattery Salomon / US Steuerberatung. I specialize in cross-border finance and tax for European companies operating in, or expanding to, the United States. I work hands-on with startups, scale-ups and mid-sized businesses on the things that actually make or break an international setup: US GAAP accounting, multi-state tax nexus analysis, payroll and benefits administration, Accounting/ERP migrations, intercompany reconciliations, and sales tax compliance.

Before consulting, I built the entire North American finance operation for ShowTex as Finance Manager — chart of accounts, reporting structures, payroll, tax compliance, all of it, from the ground up. I've also founded and exited a startup myself, so I understand what it's like on the other side of the table when cash flow is tight and every financial decision matters.
